NIBE VPA 200/70 Double-Jacketed Water Heater

Description

NIBE VPA 200/70 is a double-jacketed water heater and storage tank with a large water reservoir, designed for connection to a heat pump or other external heat sources. The internal tank is copper-lined for proven and long-term corrosion protection. The water heater handles operating temperatures up to 90 °C and is equipped with connections for immersion heater and sensor tube for precise temperature control. The well-thought-out insulation minimizes heat loss and is also removable, which facilitates transport and placement in the property.

Efficient energy storage and hot water comfort

With a design based on double-jacketed technology, the NIBE VPA 200/70 functions both as a reliable hot water heater and as an integrated part of the property's heating system. The large jacket surface provides fast and even heat transfer from the heat pump to the tap water, which ensures good access to hot water even during high consumption. For systems with larger needs, there is also the option of series connection.

Flexible docking and immersion heater connection

The tank is equipped with a dedicated outlet for an immersion heater and a dip tube for temperature control via the heat pump's control center. This provides flexible operation where additional heat can be connected during extreme cold snaps or when extra peak heat is needed. The solution is ideal for both ground source heat pumps and air-to-water heat pumps and pellet or wood-fired systems.

Environmentally friendly and demountable insulation

To reduce operating costs, NIBE VPA is equipped with highly efficient and environmentally friendly insulation that keeps downtime losses at a very low level. The insulation can be easily removed when entering through narrow doorways or basement stairs, which makes installation work considerably easier.
