NIBE VPA 450/300 E is a high-performance double-jacketed water heater and storage tank with a generous water volume, designed to work seamlessly with modern heat pumps and other external heat sources. With an internal tank for domestic hot water surrounded by a jacket for the heating water, an exceptionally even and efficient heat transfer is created, making the model ideal for properties with high demands on hot water comfort. This model is equipped with a durable enamelled corrosion protection that prevents deposits and significantly extends the life of the system.

High capacity and optimal interaction with heat pump

By integrating NIBE VPA 450/300 E with a ground source heat pump, air-to-water heat pump or other water-based energy source, the operation of the entire heating system is optimized. The double-jacketed design provides a large heat transfer surface that allows the heat pump to operate with the highest possible efficiency and minimizes the number of starts and stops. With a total volume of 450 liters and a capacity of up to 550 liters of 40-degree hot water, large and simultaneous hot water needs are met without pressure or temperature drops.

Environmentally friendly insulation for minimal energy losses

To keep operating costs down, NIBE has equipped the VPA 450/300 E with highly effective and environmentally friendly insulation. The design prevents unnecessary heat leakage and ensures that the energy stays in the system. The insulation is also removable, which makes handling and transport through narrow doorways or basement stairs easier during installation.

Flexible connections and the possibility of peak heating

Flexibility is at the heart of NIBE VPA. The tank is designed to handle operating temperatures up to 90 °C and is equipped with factory-fitted connections for an immersion heater and a dip tube for a temperature-controlling sensor. The immersion heater socket provides an excellent opportunity for extra additional heat during peak loads or as a backup solution. For properties with exceptionally high energy needs, the tank can also be connected in series for increased storage capacity.
