To maintain the fresh and inviting feeling, continuous circulation and careful purification of the water is required. The Swim & Fun Filter System Classic 400 is a compact and complete filter system that has been specially developed for swimming pools and garden pools with a water volume of up to 33,000 liters. By effectively circulating and cleaning the pool water several times a day, optimal conditions are created for a healthy swimming environment, while the need for water care products is reduced.

The included, powerful pump is self-priming and has a capacity that is perfectly balanced with the size of the filter tank. The system comes with a practical mounting platform that brings together the filter tank and pump in one place for a stable installation. Thanks to the versatility of the design, the system can be connected to standard hoses with a diameter of either 32 mm or 38 mm.

User-friendly design with integrated pressure gauge and pre-filter

The entire filter system is designed with a focus on easy and safe handling. The filter tank is made of a robust, weather-resistant material that withstands changing weather conditions. On top of the tank is a multi-way valve with clear instructions, making it easy to switch between different operating modes such as normal filtration and cleaning.

During operation, the pressure in the tank can be easily read on the integrated pressure gauge, which provides a quick indication of when it is time for maintenance or backwashing. In addition, the pump is equipped with a built-in pre-filter. This pre-filter captures larger particles and debris before the water reaches the filter media itself, which protects the system and greatly facilitates cleaning processes.

Flexible filter materials for individual needs

The Swim & Fun Classic 400 filter system offers the flexibility to choose between two different types of filter material, depending on your preference for care:

• Filterballs: This modern filter material has a very high filtration capacity that still captures particles down to 10 microns. Filterballs provide minimal water resistance, which contributes to a higher water flow and thus lower energy consumption because the pool water circulates faster. A major advantage is the low weight - 980 grams of Filterballs replace a full 35 kg of traditional filter sand. In addition, no backwashing is required during the season, but the material can be easily washed by hand or in a washing machine (without soap) after the swimming season has ended.
• Filter sand: The classic and well-proven natural material sand effectively filters out particles down to 40 microns. When sand is used, it is recommended that the filter system is placed in its final location before filling the tank, as the sand becomes very heavy when wet. When using sand, a backwash is performed approximately 2 to 4 times a month to keep the material clean, which means a slightly higher water consumption during the summer.

Possibility of bottom suction and additional accessories

A great advantage of the powerful pump is that it also enables mechanical cleaning of the pool bottom. By connecting a bottom suction on a telescopic rod via the skimmer – either with a dedicated suction hose or a regular pool hose – debris and sediment can be easily sucked up directly via the filter system. For those who wish to further optimize the water quality, it is excellent to supplement the system with accessories such as UV light to effectively reduce microorganisms. The pump is also compatible with salt water, which makes the filter system versatile and adaptable to different types of pool maintenance.
