Description

NIBE KVR 11 is a specially adapted condensation pipe equipped with an integrated, self-regulating heating cable. The accessory is designed to ensure safe and effective drainage of condensation water from outdoor air heat pumps such as NIBE S2125 and NIBE F2120 during the colder months of the year. By preventing ice formation and frost build-up, the heat pump's vicinity and drainage paths are protected against freeze damage, which contributes to stable and energy-efficient operation.

Automatic Temperature Control and Energy Efficiency

The heating cable in NIBE KVR 11 is automatically controlled based on the ambient outdoor temperature. When the outdoor temperature drops to +1.5°C, the heating cable is automatically activated to keep the pipe free of ice. When the temperature rises above +2°C again, the heating cable is switched off again. This smart temperature control minimizes energy consumption and provides heat only when it is actually needed.

Customized Lengths and Technical Specifications

The condensate pipe has an outer diameter of 90 mm and is delivered in three flexible lengths to suit different installations and property conditions. The pipe structure is made of durable plastic in a discreet gray and black color scheme, adapted for outdoor environments.
