NIBE Outdoor Sensor For Heating Systems

Description

NIBE outdoor sensor is an original component and control part that ensures that the system always works with high precision and smooth operation. This temperature sensor measures the ambient outdoor temperature continuously, which allows the control system in the heating system to automatically adjust the heating curve and supply temperature according to prevailing weather conditions. The result is a comfortable indoor climate and energy-efficient operation all year round.

Function and area of application

The outdoor sensor functions as a central link for automatic temperature control and heating control. When the outside temperature drops, the sensor signals the system to increase the heat supply, and in milder weather, the effect is reduced. This counteracts unnecessary temperature fluctuations indoors and contributes to optimized energy consumption. The sensor is delivered complete with adapted screws and plugs for easy and safe wall mounting outdoors, preferably placed on a shady facade wall in a north or northwest direction for the most accurate measurement results.

Compatibility and versatility

This control and spare part component is compatible with a wide range of heating systems:

• Heat pumps from NIBE (including exhaust air heat pumps, ground source heat pumps and air/water heat pumps)
• Electric boilers and modules for electric operation
• Indoor modules and complete control centers
