Description

A hot-dip galvanized joist hanger is an essential component for creating strong, secure, and long-lasting connections in both small and large-scale construction projects. Applications and Flexible Installation

This versatile construction fitting is designed to suit a wide range of substrates and can be installed on materials such as timber, concrete, lightweight concrete, brick, or steel. This makes it an excellent choice for roof trusses, decks, structural frameworks, and other load-bearing constructions. To achieve optimal stability, it is recommended that the height of the joist hanger corresponds to at least two-thirds of the height of the secondary beam. Additionally, a distance of at least 20 mm should be maintained between the top edge of the beam and the nail hole. The width of the hanger may exceed the width of the beam by a maximum of 3 mm to ensure a perfect fit.

Installation and Fastening

The product features both nail holes and bolt holes, offering great flexibility during installation. The nail holes have a diameter of 5.0 mm, while the bolt holes measure 9.0 mm and 11.0 mm, respectively. For attachment to timber, 4.0 mm connector nails or 4.8 mm connector screws are recommended. The bolt holes are suitable for M8 or M10 bolts, depending on the load-bearing requirements of the project.
