CTC EcoAir 406 is a reliable and energy-efficient air/water heat pump in outdoor design, designed to withstand tough Nordic conditions. As part of the CTC EcoAir 400 series, one of Sweden's most appreciated series of air/water heat pumps, this model combines high efficiency with a pleasantly low noise level. The system transfers the air's stored energy directly to the property's heating system and domestic hot water without the need for ground collectors or deep boreholes.

Energy-efficient heating and reliable operation all year round

With CTC EcoAir 406, you can reduce your heating costs by up to 70 percent. The heat pump is designed for continuous operation even in demanding winter weather and delivers comfortable indoor heat down to temperatures as low as -22 °C and produces hot water with temperatures up to 65 °C.

The built-in scroll compressor works together with an aerodynamic, sound-absorbing fan design to ensure minimal noise emission and maximum service life. The unit is also equipped with demand-controlled automatic defrosting that optimizes operation and reduces the number of defrosting events to a minimum, resulting in more heat, higher available power and longer durability.

Flexible system solutions and easy integration

CTC EcoAir 406 works excellently as a single primary heat source during modernization, as a replacement for an older outdoor unit, or as an economical complement to existing pellet or wood systems.

For optimal operation and complete heating control, the outdoor unit works seamlessly with the CTC EcoZenith i250, i350 and i550 indoor modules and the CTC EcoLogic Pro and Family control modules or CTC Basic control. If necessary, the unit can also be connected to the CTC EcoEl V3 with the CTC Converter accessory. For greater domestic hot water needs, the heat pump can be connected to multi-tanks with generous volumes, and with CTC EcoLogic it is possible to control complex systems with multiple heat sources, solar collectors, swimming pools and peak heating.
