CTC EcoAir 415 is a powerful and reliable air/water heat pump developed for villas, larger properties and smaller industrial buildings with high demands on heating comfort and energy efficiency. As part of the CTC EcoAir 400 series, one of Sweden's most sought-after product lines for air-borne energy, this outdoor unit offers a quiet and economical heating solution adapted to the Nordic climate. The heat pump draws energy directly from the outdoor air, which means that neither boreholes for geothermal energy nor buried ground loops are required.

Energy-efficient heating and high performance

With a nominal heating capacity of 15.9 kW at 7/35 °C and an efficient scroll compressor, the CTC EcoAir 415 delivers impressive performance all year round. The heat pump achieves a COP of 4.76 (at 7/35 °C according to EN 14511) and a COPd of 4.89 at an outdoor temperature of plus seven degrees. The system can reduce annual heating costs by up to 70 percent thanks to its high annual heat transfer coefficient with a SCOP of up to 3.9. The unit provides the property with comfortable heat down to -22 °C and produces flow temperatures of up to 65 °C for both radiators and domestic hot water.

Well-thought-out design and quiet operation

The outdoor unit is designed to blend in well with the outdoor environment while also withstanding demanding weather conditions. The housing is made of galvanized and painted steel sheet combined with impact-resistant ABS plastic in a stylish dark gray and black color scheme. The integrated, sound-absorbing fan design guarantees a low noise level during operation, which makes the placement flexible in relation to plot boundaries and patios.

For worry-free operation, the CTC EcoAir 415 is equipped with demand-controlled automatic defrosting that minimizes defrosting cycles and maximizes heat output when needed most. A built-in condensation tray is included as standard to drain away melt water in a safe and controlled manner.

Flexible control and system integration

The CTC EcoAir 415 is versatile and works excellently as a primary heat source, but can also be installed as an effective complement to existing heating systems such as pellet boilers or wood burning, or when replacing an older outdoor unit.

The heat pump can be controlled and connected via several different solutions:

• CTC EcoZenith i550 and i555 Pro: Advanced indoor modules and multi-tanks with integrated heat pump control. CTC EcoZenith i555 Pro offers a hot water capacity of over 600 liters, optimal for households with extra large hot water needs.
• CTC EcoLogic Pro and Family: Smart control modules that can monitor and coordinate heat pumps together with solar heating, peak heating, buffer tanks or pool in up to four separate heating systems. For larger heating needs, up to ten heat pumps can be operated together in the same system.
• CTC Basic control: For simple and functional control.
• CTC EcoEl V3: Can be connected to CTC EcoAir 415 through the CTC Converter accessory.
