Description

NIBE ELK 15 is a Swedish-made and reliable electric cassette that is primarily intended for installation together with a heat pump for heating villas or smaller apartment buildings. The unit functions in practice as an electric immersion heater mounted in a compact water tank and functions optimally as an efficient peak heat source when the total heating requirement exceeds the heat pump's own capacity.

Flexible power control and well-thought-out design

The electric cassette delivers a maximum power of 15 kW and is equipped with contactors that enable external and step-by-step regulation in two power groups of 5.0 kW and 10.0 kW. The vessel and electrical coils are made of high-quality acid-resistant and stainless steel (EN 1.4301), which prevents corrosion and provides a very long technical life. The design is also equipped with built-in overheating protection and integrated emergency thermostat for maximum operational reliability in everyday life.

Smooth docking to heat pump systems

NIBE ELK 15 is specifically developed to dock and interact with NIBE's geothermal and water-based heat pump systems. The system is automatically switched on via the heat pump's control unit when the outdoor temperature drops sharply or when the energy demand temporarily increases. This guarantees an even, comfortable indoor temperature all year round and ensures stable access to heat even during the coldest winter days.

Please note that the manufacturer’s full warranty is not applicable for units bought in Sweden and installed outside Sweden.
