Description

NIBE S1156 is an intelligent, speed-controlled ground source heat pump developed for exceptional energy efficiency, low noise levels and reduced environmental impact with a modern, more climate-friendly refrigerant. The compact design without a built-in water heater provides a low building height of only 1500 mm, which facilitates placement in spaces with limited ceiling height. The hot water solution is flexibly adapted to the property's needs by choosing an external hot water tank. With an annual coefficient of performance (SCOP) of up to 6.22, the unit continuously adapts operation to the current power demand, which provides low operating costs and consistent indoor comfort in homes up to approximately 400 m².

The model achieves a seasonal efficiency with SCOP of up to 6.22 in cold climates at 35 °C supply temperature according to the EN14825 standard. The heat pump is designed for closed brine circuits such as geothermal, ground source or sea water heating and ensures a stable heat supply even during severe winter cold.

Flexible installation for varying ceiling heights and hot water needs

Since the NIBE S1156 is delivered without an integrated water heater, it is ideal for replacing older heat sources where space is limited. The model can be freely combined with a separate water heater dimensioned according to the household's specific tap pattern, enabling everything from standard capacity to very large volumes of hot water. The low noise level and vibration-damped construction make the unit discreet in operation, suitable for both new construction and renovation.

Wireless connectivity and smart home control

As part of the NIBE S series, the S1156 offers integrated WiFi connectivity and support for wireless accessories. A clear color touchscreen and mobile application provide full overview and direct control of the heating system from a mobile phone or tablet.
