NIBE HTS 40 is a wired humidity sensor that measures relative humidity and temperature, which provides optimal control of the indoor climate.

Description

NIBE HTS 40 is a wired accessory sensor developed to read both relative humidity and current room temperature in homes and properties. By integrating the sensor with compatible heat pumps and control modules from NIBE, the conditions are created for automated, energy-efficient and needs-based regulation of the entire indoor system. The result is a stable comfort level all year round and active protection against unnecessary moisture load.

Several versatile areas of application

The HTS 40 offers flexible setting options that are adapted to the technical conditions of the property:

    • Control of ventilation and air flow: When connected to compatible exhaust air modules or ventilation systems, the air exchange rate can be increased automatically when the humidity rises, for example when cooking or showering, and then returned to normal when the humidity level has dropped.
    • Cooling control without the risk of condensation: In heat pump systems with active or passive cooling, the sensor is used to monitor the dew point. The system adapts the supply temperature so that condensation on cooling surfaces and pipe installations is effectively prevented.
    • Demand-based heating control: By continuously recording both temperature and humidity, the heat pump optimizes energy use and ensures an even and comfortable room climate.

    Easy installation and discreet design

    The sensor is delivered in a compact, white housing that can be easily mounted on the wall in the space where the measurement is to take place. It is connected with a low-current cable directly to the main control board of a compatible heat pump or control unit. Thanks to its discreet design, the unit blends naturally into the living environment without disturbing the interior design.
