CTC EcoPart 430 Basic Ground-Source Heat Pump
Description
The CTC EcoPart 430 Basic is a powerful on/off brine-to-water heat pump developed for commercial properties, industrial facilities, and larger residential buildings with significant heating demands. With a nominal heating capacity of 30 kW (27.99 kW at B0/W35 according to EN 14511), the unit provides reliable, energy-efficient base heating that can be easily integrated into both new and existing heating systems.
The heat pump is supplied without an integrated domestic hot water tank, making it ideal for connection to external buffer tanks or for integration with existing boilers and climate control systems.
Intelligent Multi-Stage Operation and Quiet Performance
The CTC EcoPart 430 Basic is equipped with dual quiet-running scroll compressors and separate cooling modules. This design allows the output to be engaged in three stages, resulting in a much smoother and more consistent operating profile. By adjusting capacity to match the actual heating demand, the number of starts and stops is minimized—reducing mechanical wear, extending the unit's service life, and ensuring stable indoor comfort with low noise levels.
Flexible control and integration options
The built-in "Basic" control system offers versatile connection options:
- The unit can be controlled via a digital thermostat signal or by monitoring the return temperature—a proven and efficient control principle for charging an accumulator tank.
- For larger properties, multiple units can be connected in series to achieve a combined capacity of up to 170 kW; for example, by combining one CTC EcoPart i435 Pro with up to four CTC EcoPart 435 Basic units.
- The model is fully compatible with one-pipe and two-pipe heating systems, underfloor heating, and fan coils.
High supply temperature for demanding systems
Thanks to a sophisticated refrigerant circuit and high-efficiency components, the CTC EcoPart 430 Basic can deliver supply temperatures of up to 65 °C. This makes the unit an excellent choice for older properties or radiator systems that require higher temperatures, while also enabling the production of ample domestic hot water via an external storage tank.
Because the refrigerant charge is optimized, there is no requirement for annual inspections or leak checks of the refrigerant circuit; this simplifies property maintenance and reduces ongoing operating costs.
Versatile installation: geothermal, ground-source, or lake-source
The heat pump is designed for a closed brine circuit and is well-suited for connection to geothermal (borehole), ground-source, or lake-source collector systems (it is not suitable for open-loop groundwater systems). To facilitate installation in confined mechanical rooms, the brine system offers flexible connection options, allowing for hook-up from the right, left, top, or rear.
