Description

LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal UNI offers a professional and watertight solution for installations in wet rooms. The hatch is equipped with a 60 mm wide flange where a prefabricated 50 mm wide foil flange is mounted, which ensures a reliable and tight connection to the room's waterproofing. The product is thoroughly tested and approved for use in wet zones, but not in direct placement for baths and showers.

Easy installation and flexible door choices

The wet zone door is easily mounted against the distribution cabinet or directly into the building frame, and accessories for both mounting methods are included in delivery. The outer frame is flexible and can be adjusted between 3 and 13 mm to provide a perfect fit that blends exactly with the wall surface. The door is complemented with either LK Tileable Design Preseal for an invisible result covered with tiles, or LK Standard Design Preseal which has a stylish white painted sheet metal finish.

• Material of other parts: Galvanized steel sheet, powder coated in white color (RAL 9016)

Important Assembly Instructions and Distances

• Distances between cabinets: When installing two wet zone hatches next to each other, a distance of at least 150 mm is recommended between the cabinets.
• Distance to corners: When placed near corners, a distance of at least 100 mm is recommended to the cabinet.
• Waterproofing: A current list of system-approved waterproofing brands and instructions for connection can be found in the installation instructions.
• Note: There is currently no test method for connecting foil flanges to plastic mats. LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal is therefore not suitable for installation with plastic mats as a surface layer.
