LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal UNI 800x710mm

Description

LK Wet Zone Hatch Preseal UNI is an approved wet zone hatch equipped with a prefabricated foil flange and a completely tight construction for safe installation in wet rooms. The hatch is tested for placement in wet zones (however, not in direct connection to a bath or shower) and effectively prevents moisture damage in built-in cabinets and installations.

The integrated 60 mm wide flange with a 50 mm waterproofing foil ensures a water-repellent and reliable transition to the wall's waterproofing. The door frame can be easily adjusted between 3 and 13 mm in depth to fit perfectly flush with the final surface layer of the wall.

Areas of use and compatibility

The wet zone door is mounted either directly against the cabinet or in the building frame. Accessories for both mounting methods are included. It is adapted for the following models:

• LK Manifold Cabinet GV 800
• LK Shunt Cabinet VS2 800
• LK Manifold Cabinet VVX
• LK Water Meter Cabinet UNI XL

Note: The door is designed for waterproofing systems with foil. There is currently no test method for connection to plastic mat, and the product is therefore not adapted for plastic mat as a surface layer.

Important installation requirements and distances

• Construction depth: Requires a free construction depth of at least 65 mm calculated from the outside of the wet room panel to the front edge of the manifold cabinet or installation (for example LK Shaft Bottom SECURE).
• Distance between cabinets: When installing two doors in parallel, a distance of at least 150 mm is recommended between the cabinets.
• Distance to corners: When installing near corners, a distance of at least 100 mm is recommended to the cabinet.

Complementary exterior doors

The system should be supplemented with an exterior design door according to the desired aesthetic expression:

• LK Tileable Design Preseal: For discreet integration where tiles or clinker are mounted directly on the door.
• LK Standard Design Preseal: A stylish, white-lacquered sheet metal door.
